The Painted Portrait is a three session Corel Painter 2019 workshop based around painting the portrait from life. A portrait model will be present during the three sessions. You will learn Corel Painter 2019 technique combined with artistic strategies for painting a portrait from life. The three sessions are each spaced apart by a month to give time to practice and review. Here's the Syllabus: Session #1: FORM: COMPOSITION, SHAPE & VALUE  Session #2: COLOR: HUE, SATURATION & VALUE Session #3: TEXTURE: PAPER, THICK PAINT & TEXTURE PAINTING Each session will focus on the topic outlined above and will include live demos by myself as well as hands-on painting time when you will be painting directly from observation of the model. It is recommended you bring a relatively portable Mac/Windows device with Corel Painter 2019 installed, e.g. either a laptop like a MacBook or PC equivalent with Wacom pen tablet, or a tablet computer with a stylus-sensitive screen like the Surface Pro.
