The Golden Gate Mothers Group's Diversity & Inclusion Committee is working hard to bring you a rare opportunity to hear from a panel of experts on a topic that effects all parents raising kids in big cities. How do we navigate our children's questions about homelessness?  It can be easy to falter when children ask questions about homelessness and poverty, especially as these queries often reveal our own personal discomforts. But moments like these can be valuable opportunities to demonstrate leadership of our core values, support greater understanding and empathy for others, and foster caring and connection to community. This educational workshop will provide information and tools to navigate these complex conversations gracefully and responsibly. The event is FREE and the cost of admission is a donation of diapers (any amount of diapers, open or unopened package; larger sizes are needed more than newborn sizes).
