Students learn improv concepts and vocabulary, practice new skills, and perform in a safe, friendly atmosphere. Through games and exercises, you'll play, explore, and experiment with creating characters and scenes, guided by one of our seasoned coaches. Foundation 1 is all about unleashing your innate skill. Are you human? Then you have all the experience necessary to excel! At the conclusion, everyone "passes" and can move on to Foundation 2, but you can also take Foundation 1 as many times as you’d like. You’re sure to get something new out of it each time!   *Attendance at the first session of your course is strongly encouraged - if you think you have to miss the first session of your Foundation 1 class, please notify the office before registering.*     BATS Improv Class Refund Policy: Class cancellation policy: If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.  If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class,  or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit. Summer Youth and Adult Sessions cancellation policy: If you cancel more than 14 days (2 weeks) before your first class, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
